Passwordless Authentication via Windows Hello

If you are using a BNY Windows device, you may authenticate with Windows Hello—facial recognition, fingerprint, or PIN—to sign in without a password. Once authenticated, navigate to MySource and use Eliza-VA for a password reset request.

Reset Windows Login Password


Use this option to quickly and securely reset or unlock your account using Microsoft Authenticator for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This is the fastest and most secure method available.

* Note: This option requires enrollment in the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) service. If you are currently locked out and not enrolled in SSPR, use the legacy option below to reset your password using RSA OTP and IVS. Once your password is reset, you can self-enroll in SSPR by clicking here.

You must be connected to the BNY network to access the registration link. We strongly encourage you to complete SSPR registration the next time you log in.

How to Register:

  1. Visit SSPR Registration and enter your phone number.
  2. If prompted, confirm your security information and click "OK."
  3. Select either "Receive a code" or "Call me" to receive a 6-digit code. Click "Next."
  4. After receiving the code, enter the six-digit code and click "Next."
  5. You will see confirmation verifying your enrollment.
  6. The next time you need to reset your password, visit the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) portal.
